How to create an SMS campaign

Earlier we looked at how to use automation and select a trigger.

The easiest way to keep in touch with your customers is via SMS. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a message.

1. Choose the type of automation – Twilio

2. In the App field, click on the arrow on the right and in the drop-down list of applications, select the account from which you will send the message.

Attention! If there are no applications in the list, please contact us.

3. In the Message From field, select the sender’s name. If you use our account, your guests will receive a message on behalf of Info or similar.

4. Compose the message in the Message Body field, remembering to use personalization, i.e. add Tags (name, date of visit, date of birth, etc.). You can add links to your post, but do not forget that the post cannot be long, so use services to shorten links.

For example: bit.ly or bit.do

If you register on these services, you will be able to track the history of clicks on your links.

5. After composing the message, press the Proceed button and wait until the message is saved.
6. Test how your automation works by clicking Test.

In the window that opens, enter a name (if you are using the Name tag in SMS) and the phone number to which you want to send a test message.
