Google Reviews of Your Establishment

Get even more Google reviews

If you have access to a Google Business account, you can find a link to the review there. But there is another easy way.

1.3. How to Find a Link to a Google Review for Your Establishment

1. Go to the Google Places API https://developers.google.com/places/place-id

2. Enter your business name in the “Enter location” field at the top of the map.

3. Click your company name in the list that appears.

4. Your seat ID will appear on the map under your business name.

Add the place ID at the following URL after the equal sign to create the link:

https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=

Once you get a Google reviews link, you have several options for your customers to see. You can email it, link to social media posts, embed it in QR codes, or on the Wi-Fi connection page. You can display it directly on the main splash page, or redirect the client after connecting. If you are a Surge Social customer, we have an additional option for you: create an automation that will ask everyone to revoke when they disconnect from your Wi-Fi. When is the best time to do this? Probably 30 minutes to an hour after they leave the restaurant, or a day or two if your establishment is a hotel. This way, the experience of your establishment will still be fresh in their minds.

By the way, if any of the Google reviews violate the guidelines, you can request its removal. Instructions at the link https://support.google.com
